That chorus. If this band is capable of writing a bad song, then I’ve yet to hear it.

Johnny Marr | The Messenger
— The Messenger (February 25, 2013)
I still maintain that, musically speaking, this song alone is more vital than anything Morrissey has produced since they went their separate ways.
This is going to be a long month.

I don’t think any of you realize just how much I adore this man and the timeless quality of this album.

The Day I Lost My Voice (The Suitcase Song) | Copeland
— You Are My Sunshine (2008)As sure as the floor ‘neath my toes, and somehow not surprised that I was superimposed somehow in this life. And if my friends and my foes would just drop me a line that’d be nice.
You see love is a drink that goes straight to my head. And time is a lover and I’m caught in her stead. And the sentiment there follows me straight to my bed through the night.

— KISS (2007)柔らかなその頬へとふれて
優しい時間に浸されていたい
もう一度あの海辺に戻り
ただ何事も無かったかのように
I want to touch those gentle cheeks
I want to soak in kind times
Once more, I return to that seashore
It’s like nothing is there anymore

Anchor & Braille is the solo project from musician and songwriter Stephen Christian, best known as the singer of rock band Anberlin. Christian will release his second effort under the moniker, The Quiet Life, on July 31 via Tooth & Nail. “In With The New,” a hypnotic number built on layers of electronics, is the first track to come from the new one, which Christian recorded in Nashville with Micah Tawlks and Civil Twilight keyboardist Kevin Dailey. Don’t expect a rehash of Christian’s formative band, either. Here, Anchor & Braille finds its inspiration from the gleaming music of artists like M83.
Goes Without Saying | Anchor & Braille
— The Quiet Life (2012)
This was really beautiful, and given the man behind this side project, one comes to expect nothing less. Felt was truly a revelation, so it goes without saying that I’ve been anticipating this record for quite some time.
